The Linwood Hotel was established in about 1888 by John B. Pullis. Located on the southeast corner of South Clinton Avenue and Linden Place, the Linwood Hotel was one of several South Shore LI destination hotels where travellers flocked to escape the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
